New Movies & Shows To Stream This Weekend: Love to Love You, Donna Summer, Selling Sunset, White Men Can’t Jump + More

This week on HBO, you can pay homage to one of the pioneering artists of the 1970s, Donna Summer, by watching Love To Love You, Donna Summer, a film that chronicles Summer’s rise to fame in Europe working with Giorgio Moroder and her ascent as the Queen of Disco in the U.S. On Netflix, you can catch up with the most glamorous realtors in the biz, the employees at the Oppenheim Group on Selling Sunset. This season, they’re dealing with the fallout from Chrishell and Jason’s breakup, and the office welcomes a new broker, Bre, who looks poised to stir up some drama. And on Hulu, a reboot of the ’90s classic White Men Can’t Jump starring Sinqua Walls and Jack Harlow is out now, to tide you over until the NBA finals start.

New on HBO Saturday May 20: Love to Love You, Donna Summer

From “Love to Love You, Baby,” to “I Feel Love” and “Last Dance,” Donna Summer was the undisputed queen of the dance floor in the 1970s, but her rise to fame was hardly overnight, and it’s a fascinating story. HBO’s new documentary Love To Love You, Donna Summer, features interviews, footage, and photos, that break down Summer’s career, her influence, and the personal life she was desperate to keep private.

New on Netflix May 19: Selling Sunset (Season 6)

Last time we saw Chrishell Stause, she was mourning her breakup with Jason Oppenheim. These days? She’s blissed out and in love. That’s where the new season of Selling Sunset begins, as Chrishell moves on with her life and tries to ease her way back into the office after awkwardly dipping out for a while. There are new listings, new relationships, and a new agent to shake things up this season, too.

New on Hulu May 19: White Men Can’t Jump

Hulu’s White Men Can’t Jump is a remake of the 1992 film of the same name which starred Woody Harrelson and Wesley Snipes as Billy and Sidney, two basketball-playing hustlers who prey on their competitors when they assume Billy can’t play very well because he’s white. The new version stars musician Jack Harlow, appearing in his first major film role, as the titular white man, opposite Power actor Sinqua Walls. The film co-stars Teyana Taylor, Laura Harrier, and Lance Reddick, who shot the film prior to his March 2023 death.
