The Original Beef of Chicagoland may be The Bear now, but The Beef can live on forever in our hearts, right?
Season 2 of FX on Hulu‘s hit The Bear began streaming last week, and since then, has been a consistent trending topic on social media and this very website.
While the plot of the season primarily concerns itself with turning The Beef into The Bear, the spirit of the old restaurant lives on, even if the staff are growing and changing themselves.
We see this primarily with Richie (Ebon Moss-Bachrach), whose journey throughout the season is one filled with growth and learning to love himself and his career.
In the first few episodes of the season, he’s holding onto The Beef more than other members of the staff — the late former owner Mikey was his best friend after all.
We see Cousin still wearing the Original Beef of Chicagoland T-shirts from season one more than a few times in a few different colors, sometimes spelled correctly and other times… not so much.
Hulu has ad-supported and ad-free plans starting at $8/month. Learn more here.
The T-shirt actually makes the perfect subtle reference for people who love getting merch for their favorite shows and movies, but hate when it’s too obvious. The good news for you is that we found where you can get one online.
Original Beef of Chicagoland T-Shirt, $21+
The shirt is available in a number of colors, including indigo (navy blue), royal blue, light blue, black, and white, and sizes S-XXL.
If you don’t want the shirt but still love the logo, we found stickers with the correct and incorrect spellings, along with a few other subtle pieces of merch:
- “Yes, Chef!” tiny felt banner
- “Yes, Chef!” sticker
- Downloadable art print with Mikey’s family meal spaghetti recipe
